A quiet Saturday turned into one celebration after the other! Jerry and Robert called in the am to reserve a table for "14" that turned into a major celebration of twenty-two. Here they are AFTER most had left and these were the lingerers. At Five we had the Pocket Hercules folks with a pre-set farewell partee. What lovely light, company, and food! A buffet of Orzo Pasta Salad, Boughatsa Tyri, Pitsas, Melitzana & Pita, Tyro & Veggies, wine and beer. What would you want on a sunny, cool Saturday afternoon. Thank you Tina et al. Then Susan and her man, Mark, who (I won't hide from you) is our website builder, showed up for dinner together with Kathryn, Mort, Mary & Bob for a pre-game supper. Mort, did I see you order TWO portions of Pistachio Ice Cream? Bless your heart! And Steve and Amy who discovered us when we catered his mother's Makaria (funeral supper) last month sat at our bar and enjoyed platters to share. Then Wendy and her Sweetie, and Cindy and her Love and friends....it was a long and wonderful evening and you could say...almost a summer evening! And so many questions and so much interest of sailing this September on a Schooner in Greece!. What ARE we expecting this winter?
